By the way Victor, I just finished watching “Kamikaze Taxi”. I checked the DVD out of the local library. It was made in 1994 which I believe is about the time you moved to Japan? There is a Japanese Taxi driver who grew up in Peru, so I thought of you because you often mention your connection with Peru, (Peru-des?)though I know you are American. Anyway all through the movie I kept wondering if you had seen the movie back in 1994. Once in a while you mention the Yakuza and they are represented in the movie as well. Have you see this movie? It was kind of a roller coaster ride. The hardest part to sit through was the charlie chaplin character and the screen girls. Overall worth watching–though I haven’t figured out why yet. While watching the 169 minute movie, I just kept thinking, “what would Victor think of this movie…”
