Your Man in Japan

Japan seems to be obsessed with people cheating on their partners. They often have these roundtable type talk shows where they invite celebrities to come on and talk about how they either caught were caught cheating. It’s sooo common that it seems almost blasé.

This time it’s a famous baseball manager. He apparently used to be a mega-star in the sports world. I’m not sure if the reason this is such a big deal because he cheated or because he is suspected of dealing with the Yakuza. Yakuza, by the way, are often referred to in Japan as 暴力団 bouryokudan. Hara was featured in a poster that encouraged people NOT to work with the 暴力団 bouryokudan, as you can see by clicking on this link below.
